A list of dotDK supporters has appeared in the press, very shortly following its release to DIFO under an FOI action. The publication of the list appears to be contrary to the purpose set by the ITST for the release of the information. dotDK is proud of its supporters and remains confident that the list proves beyond a doubt that dotDK complies with all the requirements put forward by the ITST.

Copenhagen – September 22, 2008 - The dotDK society, the Danish not for profit organization that was selected in June as the winner of the Tender to administer the .dk domain, today announced that it has submitted additional letters of support to the National IT and Telecom Agency.

The Internet has undergone a tremendous development over the last 10 years. Broadband and blogs were largely absent at the time. No one knew Google. The Internet was not the center of attention - it was the PC and the CD-ROM! Today, the Internet is the focal point of IT development, a major contributor to globalization, the cause of new flexible work arrangements and the centre of a democratic user revolution. And we are still in the Internet's absolute childhood!
